A WHOPPING 10 Asante Kotoko players are out of contracts at the club, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.

Amos Frimpong, Eric Donkoh, Ahmed Adams and Obed Owusu are the four high-profile stars in need of extension in Kumasi.

But an agreement with the quartet have not been reached yet, while a further six senior men on the Porcupine Warriors' books also have little time left.

The contract of defender Abeiku Ainooson, who was farmed out on loan to Dreams FC is up while Kwame Boateng, who also spent the season on loan at Great Olympics is believed to be on his way out of the club.

Veteran goalkeeper Isaac Amoako will not be tied down beyond next term.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands as many as eight players will be shown the exit door with coach Steve Polack set to announce his squad at the start of next season.

GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal captain Amos Frimpong, defenders Eric Donkor and Ahmed Adams as well as striker Obed Owusu will be offered new deals.

Kotoko coach Steve Polack has a big job ahead with officials remaining positive on all fronts.
