A little under $7.2m was spent during Ghana's campaign at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa according to Sports minister Akua Sena Dansua.
The lady minister was answering questions on the floor of parliament on Thursday but the minority caucus appears not to be satisfied with the response of the Member of Parliament for North Deyi.

Protocol - $100,000.00
Souvenirs, Laundry and other incidental expenses - $30,035.01
Media relations - $50,000.00
Appearance fees - $4,200,000.00
Winning bonus - $2,541,500.00
Transport - $6,608.29
Bank charges - $80,389.10
Total - $7,197.185.40
The amount does not include the money spent by government to send over 1000 Ghanaians to support the Black Stars in South Africa.
The parliamentary ranking member of Sports Isaac Asiamah is calling on the house per its standing orders to constitute a special audit committee to further interrogate the minister's report so as to know the beneficiaries of the monies spent.
"The Mills administration cannot throw such colossal figures at Ghanaians without telling them which individual or groups received the money," the MP for Atwima-Mponua told reporters after the session.
"Her (Minister) response is highly insufficient and i am calling on the house to exercise its powers to constitute a commission or committee of inquiry to give us the details we need."
This call was made after speaker of the august house, Joyce Bamford-Addo ruled no further questions to be asked since the one hour time allocated for the minister had elapsed.
