Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew has promised to replicate the form which saw him score a hat trick on Friday night in subsequent matches for Olympique Marseille.
The mercurial talent scored his fifth goal of the season by helping the Olympians to a comfortable 3-1 win over Ajaccio.
The goals were his first since last November when he scored in Marseilleââ¬â¢s Champions League defeat at Napoli.
Ayewââ¬â¢s career this term has been slowed by two surgeries he underwent but the son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele was delighted with his output.
"It's nice to score. It's been two years since I scored a hat-trick,â⬠Ayew said.
ââ¬ÅWe must continue like this and I will continue to work to be effective. I try to be there when I'm asked, either on the wings or in the middle.
ââ¬ÅIn the middle, it's a whole other job, but I will try and finish the season well because this season has been very complicated."
Ayewââ¬â¢s future has been speculated and there are heightened rumours he would leave the Stade Velodrome this season.
