Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan scored yet again to hand Al Ain a precious 1-0 win at Al Wasl on Friday.

The Black Stars captain’s converted spot kick in added on time handed the Boss all three points in the game played at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai.

The 28-year-old has now extending his season’s tally to 28 goals – two more than his closest contender for the top scorer award in the Arabian Gulf League.

Gyan has simply been on fire for Al Ain this season – scoring a staggering 36 goals in all competitions this term.

The win sees the dethroned UAE champions climb to fourth in the league, just a point adrift third placed Al Shabab.
