The Ghana FA expects the payment of appearance fees to all the Black Stars players for their participation at the 2014 World Cup over this weekend.

Rumours are rife of a mutiny on the part of the players following the delayed payment of their appearance fees.

Some are even attributing Ghana’s opening World Cup defeat to the USA to the non-payment of the appearance fees.

Each Black Stars player is to be paid $75,000 for making it into the final 23-man squad for the finals being staged in Brazil.

The Sports Ministry and Ghana FA have however explained that challenges faced with the transfer of the hefty cash from Accra to Maceio is the reason for the delayed payment.

The Ghana FA now say they expect the payment to be made over the weekend.

“The monies from Accra have not arrived yet but there are arrangements to have this sorted out soon,” GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara disclosed.

“But the concentration [of the players] now is not on the money but rather on the game against Germany.

“We expect the money in by the weekend.”

A big shame!! It is true the players agitated to revolt concerning the payment or adjustment of their appearance fee. Why is it that arrangements are now being made to settle their demand. These officials should come again. There is some true that the players threaten to carry out a mutiny. The officials are economizing with the truth. SHAME TWEAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Pls fellow ghanaians do u know that we lost the game against u.s.a. By the sluggish midfielders? Muntari was just following the American player as if there is nothing astake he should have brought the player down . Boys kasa too much opare and boye did quite ok atleast they sent Three nice crosses to our captain asamoah gyan whom we all knew how he closes the eyes if he were to the head . Kwarasay is good goal keeper but we should ask ourself why always concede goal in our poles? If Ghanaians want to be happy then the coach should used the following line-up 1. Fatau dauda 2.Daniel opare 3.mubarack wakasu 4.john boye 5. Jonathan mensah 6 Afriyie acquah 7. Kelvin prince boateng 8. kwadjo Asamoah 9. Asamoah Gyan 10. Majeed warris 11. Dede ayew. In The second half he can Replace Afriyie acquah with micheal essien ,majeed warris with jordan ayew or atsu . May be Dede with sulley muntari. there is no way this squad can lose a game 433 Boye, mensah, opare, wakasuback four acquah ,k asamoah,Kelvin boateng in midfield gyan , dede and warris attackers Ooo my God there no way Germans are going to beat us . No sensible coach will used sluggish muntari on the midfield against a very sharp and tactically sound German MIdfielders . I word to a wise?

The security at camp must be tightened because of these huge sums of money to be paid to these players. We don't want intruders to go and steal their money to dampen their spirit..

My Ghanaian friends,l am ceasing this opportunity to apologise to you guys for the disgraceful behaviour of Chineke,Noni and those all who claim to be Nigerians.l read their comments and they make me feel embarrassed to call myself a Nigerian. There are others Mumbi ,jeff etc who claimed to be Zambians.l know quite a few Zambians but the dispeccable behaviour of those claiming to be Zambians makes me wonder. As Ghanaians say,in every house there is Mensah. I am a Nigerian ,l completed my degree in Ghana at KNUST as civil engineer before moving to Atlanta Georgia for my doctorate and PHD.l know Ghana ,it's people and culture very well. Ghanaians are the one of the finest people on earth.I feel at home in Ghana than in Nigeria.Ghanaians are Honest and God fearing. Please ignore all those who come and insult you for they will reap their rewards accordingly .They will suffer untold hardship and calamity shall never cease their tabernacle .Their only way out is to apologise to you all.God bless you my Ghanaians brothers.
