2014 World Cup: Grunsah wants Ghana to appoint Mourinho to assist coach Appiah in Brazil
Alhaji Grusah wants Ghana to appoint Jose Mourinho as technical advisor

Controversial Ghanaian football administrator Alhaji Grusah is advocating for the Ghana FA to hire Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to boost and support Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah at the 2014 World Cup.

The King Faisal bankroller is not too impressed with the appointment for former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah and experienced trainer Sam Ardey as part of Ghana's technical team at next month's tournament in Brazil.

Grunsah wants the GFA to strengthen Kwesi Appiah's backroom staff with the appointment of Portuguese trainer Jose Mourinho or an equally good foreign coach.

"Arday and Appiah are good but we need a foreign coach who can offer something solid to the team. Bring a big coach like Mourinho and any big coach who can help us because this is a bigger stage," he told Accra-based Oman FM.

The Ghana FA has previously rubbished the suggestion of the appointment of a foreign technical director to assist coach Appiah at the World Cup.

Ghana are drawn into Group G along with Portugal, Germany and the United States.

Do you think Ghana should hire Mourinho to help Appiah? Will such action undermine Appiah's authority? Is Grunsah trying to question the competence of Appiah? Make your views known in the box below:
