There is seeming confusion at the Ghana League Clubs Association over a purported injunction on Friday’s farewell match for the Black Stars in Accra.

GHALCA boss Alhaji Ali Raji is quoted by state-owned Daily Graphic as having secured an injunction to stop the match until the financial details are disclosed.

But in a rather sharp rebuttal, vice-president of the association Isaac Koomson has distanced the association from the reported injunction.

“The chairman is out of the jurisdiction and so I don’t know what the so-called injunction is all about,” he told Joy FM

“I am the vice-chairman and so should be aware. But as far as I’m concerned, there is nothing of that sort.

“We disassociate ourselves from the injunction.”

The senior national team preparing for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals are billed to play local select side (mostly comprising players from the Ghana Premier League.)

GHALCA is demanding for a meeting with organizers Primeval Consult to know the financial details of the match.

The umbrella body for Ghanaian clubs is asking for an insurance package and allowances for all local players selected for the match.

GHALCA is advocating for a percentage share of the gate proceeds for clubs whose players would feature in Friday's game.
