Dream Team have assembled in Accra to face the Black Stars

The locally select side for the memorable farewell match against the Black Stars have converged at their camping base in Accra ahead of the game on Friday.

The ‘Dream Team’ of 25 players were put together through an sms texting competition to assemble the best football talents on the local scene.

The players selected from Ghana’s third tier to the Premier League will be testing their wits against a star-studded Black Stars team that will be representing Ghana at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The team will be coached by veteran trainer Herbert Addo who will be assisted by Isaac ‘Opeele’ Boateng for the game to be played before an expected impressive crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Dream Team which will have local champions; Asiedu Attorbrah, Yahaya Mohammed, Winful Cobbinah, Godfred Saka and George Owoo featuring trained for the first time on Thursday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.

They will be coming up against the likes of world acclaimed stars such as Asamoah Gyan, Andre Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah and so on in Friday’s game.

The game will kick off at 17:00 GMT to ensure that people of the working class will be able to see this game which is meant for Ghanaians to bid an official farewell to the Black Stars as they embark on another World Cup campaign.

Kids between the ages of 3-15 will also get the opportunity to take lifetime photographs with their idols after the game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
