Midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has urged his Black Stars colleagues to put up a good show when they take on World Cup-bound Holland in a friendly this Saturday.

“We lost to the Dutch last four years ago and obviously we want to beat them this time around to start the world cup on the high,” the AC Milan ace said.

“We are looking forward to the game and hopefully we get a strong performance, but it’s just a rehearsal game so don’t read too much into it.

“We lost against them last time out and but went on to have a solid world cup campaign so anything is possible.”

This is second time the two sides will be meeting before a World Cup finals after meeting in Rotterdam four years ago en route to South Africa.

The Black Stars lost 4-1 thanks to two goals from Robin Van Persie and a goal each from Wesley Sneijder and Robin Van der Vaart.

Asamoah Gyan grabbed Ghana’s consolation goal.

The defeat helped to strengthen the Black Stars, who went on to reach the quarter-finals; losing on penalties to Uruguay.

Muntari is set to make his third straight World Cup appearance.
