Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has called for an improved performance against Germany on Saturday after defeat on Monday to USA.
The Black Stars were beaten 2-1 by the Americans in Natal and now face a mammoth task against a free-scoring German side.
They have returned to their camp base in Maceio and trained on Tuesday to prepare for the task ahead.
"We have to improve in the remaining games and thatââ¬â¢s the target,â⬠Gyan told the media.
"The defeat to the U.S is painful but we do not have time to lament we have to focus on our game against the Germans."
Defeat to Germany will mean elimination for Ghana, who reached the quarter-finals in South Africa 2010.
