Kwesi Appiah has reiterated his desire to stay on as Ghana coach, defiantly insisting he has no intention to quit.
The country’s washed-out campaign has come under the microscope after the team exited the tournament in the group phase.
The future of the under-fire trainer has come under the spotlight with growing calls for his dismissal.
Critics have argued that he lacks the command over the star-studded Black stars players and do not have the technical and tactical eye to challenge his colleagues at the top level.
But the former Kotoko defender insists he will not walk out on the job.
"I am determined to continue the job. The performance of the young ones was good,” he said at a well attended press conference in Accra on Wednesday.
The Ghana FA has offered him a two-year extension deal but yet to pen-to-paper.
