Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is confident that his team will do everything possible to avoid first round elimination at the World Cup finals.

The Black Stars will have to beat Portugal heavily and hope that either Germany or USA lose by a huge margin.

Fears are that the two teams could eliminate Ghana by playing a drawn game which would be enough to see Germany and U.S through.

But Appiah says his players will give it their best shot.

“We had always known it was a challenging group but we will keep fighting and hope to make it out of the group,” Appiah said.

“Ghana knows only one thing and that is to fight till the end so we are still in it and we will give it our all.

“We will approach the Portugal game like any other game we have played in the world and that is to win it.”

Go and sack keshi and leave our own for us to deal with. Ghana will qualify and proceed to the semis. Nigeria , cote divoire Algeria and Ghana will all qualify to round of 16. Then Algeria will go out and finally Ghana will get to the semi finals

Coach Appiah you are the first Ghanaian Coach to take Ghana to the World Cup, you are also the first Coach to lose to the USA at the World Cup do not be the first Coach to exit in the first round of the World Cup. Put the best players on the field and they will deliver the victory. Consider you have some very capable fresh legs on the bench. Do not rely completely on the big egos and strong personalities there are some very good players that like you are soft spoken but let their game do the talking, it is your responsibility to also include those players in your line up, this is a grueling tournament fresh legs make a huge difference.

AA ,you should have fought from the match with USA.You were only interested in playing your favouritism cards, bringing Adomah on when he had nothing to offer. You couldn't wait to rid Kwarasey off for your dear Dauda all for what? How do you build a players confidence ,when you demonstrate that no matter what he does ,you have your blind choice.I watched Kwarasey's interview on YouTube after the German match and you can deduce the scale of disappointment in his tone and posture. If our defence had played with the same seriousness and aggression as they did against Germany ,l don't think USA could have scored any goal. John Boye played as if there was nothing at stake and Opare look like a druggie ,in the end Kwarasey had to pay the price. What did Dauda did different? I can't wait to see AA get the sack for a true professional to take charge.May be AA loved his job at Clapham common and probably did not collect his P45.Sad.

Noni are you a true Nigerian or Ghanaian in disguise .How come you write the Ghanaian language correctly. Is it the case that you lived in Ghana or still living in Ghana ? I had my first degree in Ghana and l have nothing but total admiration for Ghanaians.I pity people like you who sit behind computer and insult noble people you have never met. Here in the USA or when l come to Africa,l feel at home among Ghanaians than my own Nigerians.Ghanaians are down to earth and not show off unlike Nigerians who will brag to have a private get when they don't have a bicycle tyre. As a prophet l can only say you are cursed and doomed for destruction .You will experience untold calamity if you don't repent and apologise to the Good people of Ghana . Ghana gave me peace to complete my degree whilst in Nigeria ,armed robbers killed my brother at gun point . I had to run to Ghana for my life. Be careful what you write about Ghanaians because things doesn't look good for you.One of these days whilst you sit down to type your insults you be stricken with stroke and that will teach you sense. The same goes to Jeff,Mumbi,Chineke etc.

My concern is de J. Ayew issue. You know there is a better sub than that less matured guy. At his age, dede fought like a true black star. I dont know if he is a poultry farm chicken or something. Waris is ready for u to include him in ur first eleven. Secondly, this is de time to bench KPB. So can't u see the guy is not de same player last two seasons ago?? Akwasi look sharp. My last one is about de defence. If john Boye is symbolic. I know that there is a Certain Rashid Sumaila when in any given day can deliver . An example is de Egypt game in Cairo. See how de guy defends. Kwarasey is better than Dauda point blank.

Let the coach study the Mexicans style of play that open spaces to tap in easy goals. This style of play requires maturity and unselfishness. Any player that cannot conform to such style of play must not Don the Ghana Jersey. Any reason Warris is not playing, i pour out my heart to defend and support the coach from big time by all angles but he disappointed me by featuring his favorite cards.
