Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says he’s gaining self-belief as the 2014 FIFA World Cup draws closer.

The Africans will play against old foes USA and Germany as well as Portugal in a group touted as the ‘group of death’.

The Black Stars have managed wins over the Americans in the past two editions of the global showpiece while suffering a narrow defeat against the Germans in South Africa 2010.

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says he’s can’t wait for the tournament to get underway.

“I am beginning to see a sign. Everything is falling in place. We are in a difficult group but the signs are good,” he told Accra-based Peace FM

“It’s good everybody is coming together for the nation and that’s very exciting for us.

“We have always been touted as the underdogs but we always surpass expectations. We must keep working hard and I’m confident we’ll achieve our target.”

The Black Stars will play local select side in a preparatory game on Friday at the Accra sports stadium.
