Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda remains coy on reported interest from Al Ahly and Ismaily as he focuses on his work on the field of play.

The two Egyptian clubs are said to be interested in the 28-year-old who is out of favour at his South African club Orlando Pirates.

Dauda has struggled for regular first team action since his arrival from AshantiGold at the beginning of the season.

The Black Stars’ shot-stopper has never hidden his desire to leave the club but says he is for now only focused on improving himself on the field of play.

“I am a player and therefore only focused on my work on the field of play,” he told Metro FM.

“The others will also do their work and for now I have a contract here.

“But then at the end of the season we will sit to review the situation.”

Dauda is expected to be named in the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
