Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda feels heââ¬â¢s fortunate to make the countryââ¬â¢s 2014 World Cup squad.
Dauda, 29, is among three shot-stoppers included in Kwesi Appiah provisional 26-man squad released on Monday.
He has struggled at South African side Orlando since he switch from Ashantigold and he feels heââ¬â¢s just being lucky in his called up into the team.
"I would like to thank God for the opportunity to be a part of this squad. Every player dreams of representing his country at the world stage and so it feels good to be in there", he tol Kumasi-based Angel Fm.
"I am only praying to God that I stay fit from now to the start of the world cup and prove my mettle.
ââ¬Å I have gone through some challenges with my club but that haven't dampened my spirits at all, rather those challenges have strengthened me mentally".
The ex-AshGold last line of defense à was among three goalkeepers' named in Ghana's 26-man provisional squad on Monday.
