Ghana goalkeeper Stephen Adams has picked up a lip injury in the team’s pre-World Cup camping base in Arnhem but the severity has been beaten down.

The Aduana Stars gloves man suffered the problem on Monday when he went out for an aerial challenge.

But he has been training with his lip plastered

"Adams suffered a cut on his lower lip after the clash with Gyan. It is nothing too serious that's why he was able to continue with training. He will have treatment to heal the cut," Team doctor Adam Baba told the Ghana FA’s official website.

Adams should be fit and available for selection in Saturday’s pre-World Cup friendly against Holland in Rotterdam.
