2014 World Cup: Ghana keeper Kwarasey in top shape for Stromsgodset in Norwegian top-flight

Published on: 24 May 2014
Kwarasey was in action for Stromsgodset

Adam Kwarasey's return to Stromsgodset proved worthwhile as he helped them share the spoils with Rosenborg in a 1-1 stalemate in the Norwegian Eliteserien on Saturday evening.

The 26-year-old manned the posts for the entire regulation period of the game at the Marienlyst Stadion in Drammen as Stromsgodset managed a draw to remain second on the section and stay five points within leaders Molde.

Though Danish attacker Nicki Bille Nielsen managed to force a shot into Kwarasey's net in the 57th minute but his timely saves proved crucial for his side.

The Ghana FA says it agreed to allow goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey to return to Stromsgodset as a gesture to strengthen its relationship with the club.

Kwarasey is expected to rejoin his international team-mates in Amsterdam as they prepare to face the Netherlands in pre-World Cup warm-up friendly.

Has their league come to an End now? If not will they still issue SOS to him when there's a game?

KGB's statement, although syntactically incorrect, makes perfect sense semantically. If appiah wants to lose his job, then he should play Dauda, as Kwarasey is clearly the better goalkeeper.

Ghan is Blessed in The like of Adam Kwarassey. It is unfortunate his Potential is under utilized at The Black Stars Set up. I Feeling very ashamed a Top Goalkeeper in The calibre of Adam playsvsecond fiddle to Club under utilized, Fatau Dauda. This is only possible in Ghana. I do Hope as we airborne To Brazil in The coming days, The technical Händlers under my Own friend, Kwasi Appiah will reason up and let The entire Nation know who is our number One Goalkeeper. Wie Must be careful Not to make any irreversible mistakes that will Enter The History Books To shatter The enviable record of The Black Stars in 2006 and 2010. The Whole World expect Ghana To advance beyond Quarter finals. Achieving that, will Dependance on truth and honesty if selecting The right Players To defend The flag of Ghana. Akwasi Appiah, you have our Backing and please don't disappoint us. God bless you and The entire Team. God bless mother Ghana.

Troy ,their league will end on Saturday 12/07/14.They have five matches left to play.Personal l don't see the point of allowing Kwarasey to make that trip.l won't be surprise if they send SOS again.Kwarasey has always been in form,it was that clueless Yakubu who tried to sabotage him to give Dauda the edge but what will be will be.Dauda has warmed bench through and through whilst Kwarasey has been active week in week out.He who God bless.........

Ghana would know the value of Kwarasey if he temporary retired from international soccer like Gyan, Essien, KPB, Dede, Jordan and Asamoah Gyan did. After the World Cup his stock will rise, he could join a bigger club then we shall see.
