Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has allayed all fears about fitness and declared his availability for Udinese in their Serie A clash with Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.

Udinese manager Francesco Guidolin named the 23-year-old in his 18-man squad for their trip to the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi and is likely to start for Les Zebrettes.

Reports circulated in a section of the Ghanaian media that Badu faces a late fitness test to determine whether he would be in the Udinese squad for the trip to Verona.

But hard-tackling midfielder has explained he is not injured and could not train on Tuesday due to fatigue after arriving late from Menaye Donkor's event.

"I'm not injured. I've travelled with the team and hopefully will be playing against Verona," he explained to GHANAsoccernet.com.

"I could not train on Tuesday because I was tired after arriving late from Milan from Menaye's programme," he added.

Badu scored his fourth goal of the season for Udinese's 5-3 triumph against Livorno at the Stadio Communale Friuli last Sunday.
