Kwadwo Asamoah wants to remain at Juventus

Ghana star midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has reiterated his commitment to Italian giants Juventus by rubbishing reports linking him with a summer move to Arsenal.

The 25-year-old versatile midfielder has reportedly been in the books of English Premier League titans Arsenal and Manchester City with the Gunners reportedly readying a bid for him.

But Asamoah watered down the rumours and insists he wants to finish his career at the Turin club.

"Arsenal? I have only recently signed an extension with Juve and that's all that counts," Asamoah said.

"My wish is to finish my career here. Everything else is just a rumour.

"I'm proud to wear the shirt, as I always have been."

The midfielder is on national assignment with the Black Stars as they prepare for the 2014 World Cup.
