Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has expressed confidence in AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf and wants the Rossoneris to be patient with the ex-Dutch star.

Serie A pundits have cast doubts over the long-term future of the former Milan star as manager following an inconsistent start to life at the helm.

The 38-year-old has failed to restore Milan to their prestigious place in the Serie A since taking charge in January.

However, Ghana international midfielder Kevin Boateng will played along Seedorf at the San Siro in 2011 has called for patience and is confident Seedorf will come good.

"You have to give him time, he has done a great job so far. Being coach is different from being a football player. The next year Milan can finish in the top three places with Seedorf," Boateng told Calcio Merto.

Boateng has been linked with a return to Italy next season but a return to Milan is not on the cards as AS Roma are leading the pack to land him.
