Sulley Muntari will play for AC Milan in their match against Roma

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari is seeking attain full fitness as he plays for Italian side AC Milan on Friday night in their match against Roma following his return from injury.

Muntari returned from injury in the game against Livorno last Saturday and with Nigel De Jong suspended, the midfielder will play a key role for the Italian giants tonight.

The Ghana international will play from the start alongside Riccardo Montolivo on Friday night at Stadio Olimpico when Milan visit Roma.

The Ghanaian says he will be seeking to reach his full fitness level while seeking victory for AC Milan in the match.

“I’m feeling better and I hope to get back to 100% for the team,” Muntari told Milan Channel.

“We’ve been playing well for six games now and we want to keep that going until the end. We have two tough games now and we’ll have to first think about Roma and then the derby. We’ll have to stay calm on Friday in Rome, follow the coach’s instructions and stay focused.

“Things are going well at the moment and the luck that was missing earlier in the season has come now. We have to keep on doing well and take things one game at a time."

Muntari and Monto are likely to play in midfield with Andrea Poli expected to start as the right attacking midfielder against Roma as Keisuke Honda may not be 100% fit to participate and Kaka and Adel Taarabt playing behind Mario Balotelli.
