Black Stars winger Christian Atsu is rallying his Ghana team-mates to focus their attention on Saturday's pre-World Cup warm-up friendly against European giants Netherlands.

The West African giants get their 2014 World Cup training rolling with a first international friendly against Luis van Gaal's Dutch side in Amsterdam on Saturday before enplaning to the United States to with a final 23-man squad to play South Korea in a final exhibition game before heading to Natal where the team will be based.

The profile Ghana's Group G opponents is widely expected to dominate the entire Ghana squad while preparing for the group opener against the United States on June 16.

But winger Atsu insists the main focus is on impressing against the Netherlands on Saturday.

"The next game is against the Netherlands and we must give it the attention it deserves. It the next game for us not the games in Brazil yet," he told local reporters.

The 22-year-old is well known in the Netherlands as he played on loan at Vitesse Arnhem from English giants Chelsea.
