Ghana winger Christian Atsu has vowed to put an end to Portugalââ¬â¢s World Cup campaign when the two sides meet on Thursday in a crucial Group G decider.
The Black Stars will have to beat Portugal handsomely and hope that Germany beat the USA or Jurgen Klinsmannââ¬â¢s side win by a high margin.
Atsu knows much about Portuguese after spending three years in the country and played for FC Porto and Rio Ave.
The 22-year-old has been impressive so far and believes the Black Stars are determined to put Portugal to the sword.
ââ¬ÅWe have given it our all and I am very certain we will beat Portugal,â⬠the Chelsea man said.
ââ¬ÅThe game wonââ¬â¢t be easy since we all have a genuine chance but we are confident in ourselves and will win.
Atsu is also aware the Black Stars could be knocked out if they lose to Portugal in Brasilia.
ââ¬ÅIn football everything is possible but we believe we will go through, itââ¬â¢s unfortunate that we find ourselves in such a position and itââ¬â¢s the reality but we will sail through.ââ¬
