Germany coach Joachim Loew will be sitting on the edge as he awaits the fitness of both Marco Reus and Bastian Schweinsteiger who were withdrawn from their various Bundesliga games on Saturday due to injuries.
Bayern Munich's Schweinsteiger was replaced due to a suspected relapse of his troublesome knee injury that has seen him miss a chunk of this season games in their match against Stuttgart.
Whiles Dortmund's Reus, who is expected to play a key role as the Germans look to emerge from their shadows, was also forced to take a quick shower due to a suspected hamstring injury against Hertha Berlin.
