Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams says he knew he would certainly be part of Ghanaââ¬â¢s provisional World Cup squad.
The 27-year-old was on the only locally-based player in the 26-man squad announced on Monday by head coach Kwesi Appiah.
Adams is set to play in his first World Cup finals with only three goalkeepers picked.
He put up a sterling showcase at the 2014 African Nations Championship and that was what he used to justify his inclusion.
ââ¬ÅI believed that I was going to be part of the squad. That was my prayer.â⬠Stephen Adams told Fox FM
ââ¬ÅPray for us so that all goes well with at the World Cup.ââ¬
Adams wasà named in Ghanaââ¬â¢s provisional squad for the 2010 finals but dropped from the final cut.
