Helsingborg coach Roar Hansen says his team need a collective effort to replace Ghana striker David Accam.

The 22-year-old is on international duty with the Black Stars and will miss a number of matches for the Swedish side.

The Right to Dream Academy product is keen to fight his way into the country’s final 23-man squad ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The Swedish side are now sweating without their talisman and coach Hansen has admitted they will need a collective effort to replace him.

“I cannot claim that any single person will replace him. It becomes a collective responsibility, says Roar Hansen after the preparatory training for Wednesday's game against Atvidaberg.

“We have not had an option for David. That has not been a part of our plan, but it has become so.

“Now we are forced to find a game where everyone will be is involved.”

Accam has been an influential member of the Helsinborg side and will be solely missed during his time with his national team.
