Andre Ayew trained with his Olympique Marseille teammates on Thursday clearing doubts about his fitness level for Sunday’s final Ligue 1 match.

The Ghana international trained alone on Tuesday under the supervision of the club’s doctor Christophe Baudot.

He suffered a knock in last Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Bordeaux but seems to have convinced the Marseille technical team at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus.

The 24-year-old is now in line to play in Saturday’s match against Guingamp.

Ayew has made 24 Ligue 1 appearances and scored five goals.

He will head straight to Accra to join the Black Stars prepare for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals when the non-residential camping begins.

  1. Adeabiba Okraku Sam says:

The best football player we have so far in Ghana no size

  2. Spirit says:

Ayew was the instrument that took us through the last world cup as all those miraculous penalties that saw us through the group stage came from him. I was not surprise we exited in the only match he missed. I completely agree with Adeabiba but I thank God most of our players now have the qualities Ayew had during the last world cup and that is good news for Ghana.
