Kevin Prince Boateng wants Schalke to finish well before thinking about the Ghana's World Cup campaign

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng says he is not thinking about the World Cup as he is focused on getting his German club Schalke a strong finish in the Bundesliga.

The Germany-born midfielder is expected to play a key role for the Black Stars in the tournament in Brazil which is less than two months away.

While many Ghana supporters are drenched in talks about the Black Stars participation in the world's biggest football event, Boateng says his concentration is on Schalke as he wants the club to clinch a place in the Champions League next season.

“I’m not satisfied with the season just yet. I’ll only be happy if we’re still up there at the end of the season and ideally win our last three matches,” Boateng said insisting he has not time to think about the World Cup right now.

“I’ve no time to think about that,” the 27-year-old added.

Schalke are third on the league table and must win their remaining three matches against Monchengladbach, Freiburg and Nuremberg
