2014 World Cup: Kumasi-based Prophet foretells Ghana round 16 qualification

A Kumasi-based prophet, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, says the Black Stars of Ghana will qualify from their difficult Group G for the round of 16 at the ongoing World Cup in Brazil.

His expectation follows a startling prophecy he delivered at a church service at his Believers Worship Centre at Kenyasi in Kumasi as far back as December 31, 2013 in which he said God had revealed to him that the Black Stars were going all the way to the semi-finals.

Ghana has one point from two matches in the tournament and will play Portugal in a crucial Group G match Thursday June 26.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Prophet Kyei-Duah affirmed his prophecy that God had revealed to him that this year’s World Cup would be the first time an African country was going to reach the semi-finals.

“One loss, one draw, one win. Ghana will go to the next stage of the tournament with four points. Ghanaians have to relax; we’ll get to the semi-finals,” he said.

Prophet Kyei-Duah has published a number of video recordings on Youtube in which he is seen prophesying the outcomes of the USA-Ghana and the Ghana-Germany matches ahead of the encounters.

Both prophecies were correct but the Daily Graphic has not been able to independently verify whether the videos were actually recorded before the matches.

In one of his Youtube videos, Prophet Kyei-Duah was seen telling his congregation on December 31, 2013 that the going would be tough for Ghana, a situation that would bring about a lot of bickering, but he assured them that the end was known already and no one needed to fret.

In the video, he said: “It is the first time an African country will reach the semi-finals,” before proceeding to inquire if there were any nationals of participating African countries in the congregation.

Only Ghanaians responded to the charge and he said that was exactly what he saw, that Ghana would experience ‘one draw, one win and one loss’.

Prophet Kyei-Duah also said he saw in his vision Black Stars Coach Kwasi Appiah being hailed with ribbons of Kente, signaling glory and honour for the humble coach.

When the Daily Graphic called him on Tuesday, he reiterated the prophecies, saying God had never failed him nor lied to him.

Asked about the outcome of the match between Ghana and Portugal in terms of goals, he said in all his 26 years as a prophet, he had always tried to desist from giving details to discourage people from using his prophecies for betting and lottery, which he said were “unholy” and likely to reduce God’s word to “ridicule”.

Asked if anything could pervert the prophecy, he laughed and explained that nothing would change what God had ordained.

“He changeth not, nor faileth not,” he said, and insisted the prophecies that had been revealed to him were for those who believed in God.

Ghana is favored against a tired and disappointed portugal and Germany are favored easily over Germany. Netherlands, Argentina all clinched their spot and still played hard in the final game.Germany will do the same and easily beat the US while ghana defeat portugal. I dont care about this dirty prophet that sleeps with the women in the church. Ghana will advance and it is common knowledge. dont believe this gari and yamm smelling idiot.

"G" for Germany and Ghana? That's a good one! Well, if God has ordained Ghana's qualification to the round of 16, then it will happen.... so I guess we can all relax and start celebrating :-)

The genuity of a prophet is determined by the outcome of his prophesy. The bible defines a false prophet as the one whose prophesy fails to come to pass. For prophesy that comes from God will surely come to pass no matter how long or whatever happens. This reminds me of Simon the God receiver who had to live for over 200 yrs just to set his eyes on the Saviour Jesus Christ when God had given man only 70 yrs. This is how powerful a prophesy that come from God can be.

The genuity of a prophet is determined by the outcome of his prophesy and then under which authority such prophesy had come from. The bible defines a false prophet as the one whose prophesy fails to come to pass or whose prophesy comes to pass but get his power from idols. For prophesy that comes from God will surely come to pass no matter how long or whatever happens but is receved from the Holy Spirit. This reminds me of Simon the God receiver who had to live for over 200 yrs just to set his eyes on the Saviour Jesus Christ when God had given man only 70 yrs to live. This is how powerful a prophesy that comes from God can be. So we will know whether we are dealing with a true prophet or a false prophet today by the outcome of the Portugal Ghana Match to start with then further asses his deeds if his power is not from idols. May God bless our homeland Ghana.

The prophet had mistook Ghana for Nigeria. Nigeria is now in knock out stage, with one draw, one win and one lose. They are now playing wonderfully. Though my prayer is for Ghana to go through but not at the expense of one 'aclammed' man of God's prephecy! ALLAH KNOWS ALLTHINGS!
  • SADONA says:

Did'nt I said it, Allah knows more than us, while all power belong to Him alone. Had it been, Ghana had won, the prophet would be claiming to be powerful and that would have given him more tricks to lure people to worship his god with him. ALLAH AKBAR, ALLAH SAMOD. Secondly where is the Ghanian harbalist that claimed to have charmed C RONALDO. Obviously Ronaldo did not score in the previous macthes but Allah ridiculed the power of the Ghanian harbalist by allowing CR7 to score against Black Stars! UP SUPER EAGLE IN GOD WE BELIEVE!

The Prophet is not a true prophet but a fake one. Boro is right. The bible says a true Prophet is the one who prophecies and it comes to pass. If it did not come to pass then he is not a true prophet.
