Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah says he senses success for his team at the 2014 World Cup due to the impeccable mentality of his players.

The Black Stars will be making a third successive appearance at the finals this term in Brazil.

Ghana have made progressive stints at the World Cup since its debut participation in Germany 2006.

The Black Stars bettered their Round of 16 finish in Germany by going a step further four years later in South Africa.

The team is targeting another successful campaign this term in Brazil with an aim of making it through to the semi finals.

And Kwesi Appiah believes the team is more than capable of excelling in June’s tournament due to the attitude of most of the players he plans to rely on.

"I have spoken to the players and 99 percent of them believe this is the time to do something," he told Metro TV. "And when you have players with such a mentality then good things are bound to happen."

Ghana must however first make it through a tough group alongside Germany, Portugal and the USA.
