Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is putting a lot of premium on the exhibition match against a local select side to bid an official farewell to the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
The Ghana team will come up against ââ¬Ëthe Dream Teamââ¬â¢ an assembly of players from the local third tier to the top flight on Friday.
The game is expected to thrill local fans as all but two of players from Ghanaââ¬â¢s provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup will be in action.
Coach Appiah however wants Ghanaians to have a teaser of how he wishes his team to impress during the World Cup in Brazil in this farewell game.
ââ¬ÅFridayââ¬â¢s game is very important; we need to showcase ourselves to all Ghanaians,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅWe expect that each and every Ghanaian will come and watch us play and pray for us.
ââ¬ÅBy Thursday we should have a full house but only two players that is Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng will be absent.ââ¬
