With just a couple of days left for Ghana to name their final 23-man squad for the 2014 World Cup, Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah is torn between Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah and midfielder Rabiu Mohammed, according to Accra-based Oman FM.

The locally-based radio station claims the Ghana head coach has already concluded to drop Leicester City versatile defender Jeffrey Schlupp and Helsingborg IF star David Accam while hesitating on a decision to drop either Adomah or Rabiu from the 26-man squad in his fold.

Rabiu, who plays for Russian side Kuban Krasnodar, could have easily picked up a place in central midfield but he is facing serious concerns and the Ghana head coach do not want to gamble.

However, he would wait on the Ghana team doctors for news and also further assess him in the friendly against Netherlands on Saturday before reaching a conclusion.

The radio station claims Kwesi Appiah has already settled on 22 players and also leaked jersey numbers Ghana players will be hearing at the World Cup it is not officially announced by the Ghana Football Association.

According to their reports, Kevin-Prince Boateng has taken over the number 9 jersey from Abdul Majeed Waris while the Spartak Moscow star opts for the number 18 shirt.

Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams has been handed the number 1 shirt while Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien, Andre Ayew, Asamoah Gyan and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu retain their number 11, 5, 10, 3 and 8 respectively.
