Ghana attacker David Accam crowned his Black Stars call-up with marvellous match-winning curler for Helsingborg IF in their 1-0 win over newly-promoted Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Monday night.

The 23-year-old went into the game at Grimsta IP in strong mood after he was named in Ghana's provisional 26-man squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and  he advertised another glistening display - sensationally scoring a sumptuous goal to hand victory to Helsingborg and end their win-less run in the league.

Brommapojkarna held the visitors for the best of the game including the entire first-half and the early stages of the second department but one brilliant move the attacker broke their front-line and ensured they ended the game empty-handed.

Brazilian midfielder Álvaro Santos shot a crossfield pass at him and he controlled it with a measure dazzling twists and turns to outwit his marker before sending home an unstoppable drive past Ivo Vazgec the hosts' keeper for his 6th goal of the campaign and 12 this season.

@ keit from Germany when we talk of the top four leagues in the world. Pls exclude Germany from your list and add the POrtugese league where we have the likes of FC porto , benfica, sporting braga, sporting Lisbon fighting for the league title whiles in German Bondesliga only baryern munich dominating just a few years that Dortmund are coming to the picture. Portugese league is better than German Bondesliga

Good to hear from you bro. Keith. It has indeed been a very long time. The reason? This site was getting too much "unfriendly" user wise. But now it appears there has been an overhaul and the site looks more sanitised, so I am back. Just to continue to use your knowledge to spy on the Kaisers and report back to us to let us know what they are doing. As for Accam, I don't think we have seen the best of him yet. With respect to Helsingborg, but I think he needs a top team to ensure his full potential come to the fore. At Helsingborg, he appears to be the only bright spot perhaps along with the goalkeeper, who is also the captain. Most of the team appear to be inexperienced and short of talents. If Accam gets into a team with even 2 experienced stars he can even do much more better. That's why I think he will be a hit with the Black Stars. Once again it's good to hear from you Bro. Keith. Greetings and kind regards.

I'll pick Accam over Albert Adomah. And I don't think Aquah will make the squad. Now who will be the last person to be left out? I hope not Jordan. Maybe Inkoom, who has lost his form but seems to be everybody's favorite.

It looks like you millennium is very myopic. I am sure you are talking without facts or you just don't know what you are talking about. Soon you will eat your words big time or you will be forced to go and see an optician for your short-sightedness.

The guy is really doing a fantastic job, I wish he could deliver up to Kwasi Appiah's expectation to be included in the final 23

Millennium we have been watching football for a very long time and when we see a world class player we can identify even with controls and movements with the ball. This dude's pace and skill is uncommon in the Ghana squad.

Hey bro kenneth County its been ages i heard from you.nice to have u back. @Risky eventhough we are all know Accam is good calling him "worldclass," is too much from my own perspective. The kid Accam is definately a delight to watch n he must definately be on the plane to brazil but to be termed a worldclass player then u gotta move out of sweden and go into a tougher league to rub your shoulders with the best. Eventhough the swedish long aint that bad at all their standard of football cant be compared to the four major leagues in europe talking of Germany, Italy, England and Spain. Worldclass is a term that is used on players who have realy proved themselves on the international stage. We ghanaians are always putting ppl in a position in which they are not supposed to be. Accam can be s worldclass player if he works because that boy has got the talent to cause many defences a havoc but to be termed a worldclass player that boy hasa got a long journey ahead of himself.

Masa, just do a little research on this guy on YouTube to get abreast with him form. It seems a lot people are not watching so they are just making cheap judgements. I don't know why any coach will drop such a talent ahead of a crucial tournament. This is a player who is a nightmare to defenders and Apparently defenders are his strong opposition. How gud does this sound. Masa, this is our Messi/ CR7 take or leave it

David Accam is definitely a world class player in the making. A careful look at his technical abilities reveals this. From what Ive seen of him, he has to be on the plane to Brazil. However, this means dropping someone who has been a more consistent part of the team. This is where Akwasi Appiah's nightmare will be. It will be a big test for his decisiveness.

true say masa. AA the striking department is good. AA, drop 1 defender and 2 midfielders. we need goals to counteract our unproven defense.... Accam can't be dropped. the boy is on

It will be intresting when he is paired with majeed, Asamoh Gyan, Atsu and Ayew, upfront. They all have speed. I believe USA, Germany and the almighty Ronaldo will have their hands full. Lets see if we can get through the group.

I watched the match online. David once again used his lightning speed to outwit 3 defenders after collecting the pass just inside the opponents half and curled a ground shot from about 20 metres out beyond the keeper and into the far corner of the net. Apart from the goal he nearly got on the score sheet on 2 other occasions, putting the ball just wide after meeting a cross from the right. And in stoppage time of the first half, he beat 2 defenders down the middle and was brought down as he was about to pull the trigger resulting in the sending off of the offender. My only prayer is that he stays free from injury. He looks to be a marked man as he is always followed by 2 opponents who resort to rough play by either bringing him down or holding him back physically as soon as he gets the ball before he starts his dashing runs. I wish him the best of luck and may he stay injury free.

I could hear a lot of people saying this guy will be one of the three to be dropped from the final squad. Those people must rethink looking at the qualities of this guy. I have maintained he is a small pack of dynamite and will be chosen ahead of adomah come the final day.

David Accam scores goals when they are need and not after his team is leading 3:0. The world Cup is going to be very interesting for Ghanaians, if we unite to support our Black Stars. Black Stars Unite!!!

Accam is a world class player. Who said u have to play in the top four ligue before u considered asuch. Neymar was considered world class player whiles. Playing in Brazilam. This guy has speed, gud Passer of the ball, team player, tormentor of defenders. He will shine which ever ligue he plays. The critiques just go watch him on utube. His no looking passes and dashing runs is something that will be crucial in blackstars pursuit.
