Orlando Pirates coach Vladimir Vermezovic believes Fatau Dauda is a quality replacement for suspended Senzo Meyiwa against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Wednesday.

Meyiwa collected his fourth booking during their 1-0 win over Moroka Swallows on Saturday night for time-wasting.

According to the PSL rules, the goalkeeper will serve one-match ban.

Vermezovic, appointed recently, will rely on Dauda for the tough assignment against the in-form side at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night.

“We have big squad and Dauda is very much ready for action for the game against Aces,” said Vermezovic.

Dauda has only played twice for Pirates this season and will be pleased to get another taste of action on Wednesday.

He needs more game time to sharpen him for the 2014 World Cup finals.
