2014 World Cup: Red-hot Mahatma Otoo scores but Sogndal lose to Rosenborg

Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo scored for the third week running when he opened the scoring in Sogndal’s 2-1 defeat at home to Rosenborg on Thursday.

Otoo’s strike was in the seventh minute but the visitors equalized through Tore Reginiussen on 28 minutes.

Rosenborg sealed the point courtesy Alexander Soederlund’s goal in the 54th minute.

Otoo has now registered his two goals in five league appearances.

His first goal of the season was in the Norwegian Cup before scoring in the 3-0 win over Haugesund on Sunday.

I said it that it was only a matter of time before he finds his goal scoring boots in the Norwegian Tippeligaen, three goals in his last 3 competitive games is quite impressive. Just keep on banging in the goals and help Sogndal finish in a respectable position at the end of the season and the big clubs will start chasing you, I want to see you in one of the elite leagues next season.
