Stromsgodset coach Ronny Deila says he is determined to keep Ghana goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey although his captain his dragging his feet on signing a new deal.
Kwaraseyââ¬â¢s contract expires at the end of the season and will be available on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old has rejected several offers submitted by club.
It is unclear if Kwarasey wants to wait after the World Cup to pen a new contract or disinterested in remaining at the club.
ââ¬ÅWe have stretched as far as we can. Adam knows how important he is for us and he knows what he gets if he stays here,â⬠Deila told Dagbladet.
ââ¬ÅBut if he wants to move on without signing a contract here, so he must do it. It will be his choice.ââ¬
Kwarasey is in his seventh season at the club and captained the Oslo-based side to win the Norwegian Tippeligaen last season.
He will be named in Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the Brazil 2014 World Cup finals this June.
