Tigo have launched a campaign dubbed ‘Crazy Fan’ to reward passionate football fans during the World Cup season.

The telecommunication giants are rolling out the global online campaign to capture and celebrate memorable moments of supporters during June’s tournament in Brazil.

‘Crazily’ dressed fans and the best captured emotional moments and videos will be rewarded.

Tigo will also be holding online interactive games to test the football knowledge of fans.

Prizes will also be given to fans who are able to predict correctly World Cup games.

Tigo Ghana’s Chief Executive Roshi Motman says the new campaign f0rms part of her outfit’s innovative ways to interact with their cherished customers and the larger Ghanaian football fans community.

“Tigo Ghana recognizes the significance of football in Ghana, as it is the passion of the nation,” she said at the campaign launch on Friday.

Fans will be able to access highlights on their ‘feature’ and ‘smart phones’ via the Tigo Football Madness hub on Facebook.

The telecommunication outfit will also be staging several road shows and experience centres across the country during the World Cup period.
