DR Congo coach Florent Ibenge has been forced to make an administrative delay in announcing his 2015 Africa Cup provisional team.

Ibenge was initially expected to announce his squad on December 17 but has now put it back to December 29.

"The list is ready but if I have not published today, it is because some European football clubs have put pressure on their players and asked them not to come," Ibenge told Radio Okapi.

Ibenge said he would wait until most European league had gone on winter break.

All teams must submit their final 23-member team lists to CAF by the January 7 deadline.

The 1968 and 1974 African champions are in Group B with 2013 quarterfinalists Cape Verde, 2004 champions Tunisia and 2012 winners Zambia.

DR Congo open their campaign with a South/Central Africa derby against Zambia on January 18 in Ebebiyin.
