Ghana's 2015 AFCON group opponents Senegal are pondering on pitching their pre-tournament camping in either Morocco or Gabon, according to the Senegalese Football Federation President.

The Teranga Lions are in the same group with the Black Stars, South Africa and Algeria and are keen to choose a quality grounds to pitch their camping for the tournament.

President of the country’s football federation, Augustin Senghor has revealed the options between the two countries but insists the final decision lies in the hands of French manager Alain Giresse.

“It is the coach who has the last word. He has expressed the wish to prepare elsewhere [outside Senegal]. It is between Morocco and Gabon which is near the host country of the Afcon,” Senghor said.

"At the beginning of preparations, the team will converge in Dakar, fraternize with the people and if necessary and approved by the head of state and the minister for sport, to receive the flag [of Senegal]. From there, we will go directly to the camping base for preparations."

Senghor also confirms his side might get involved in a couple of games before the tournament starts next month.

"The friendly opponents will be chosen depending on the country where the preparation will take place but again the coach will decide who,” the FSF president said.
