Goalkeeper Rais Mbolhis has vowed to win next yearââ¬â¢s Africa Cup of Nations title with Algeria, claiming they are 'animals going to ââ¬Ëwar for their countryââ¬â¢.
The Desert Foxes have been drawn in a difficult group which comprises of Ghana, Senegal and South Africa for next monthââ¬â¢s continental showpiece.
Mbolhis, who plays for American Major League side Philadelphia Union, admits pressure will be on Algeria after their impressive performance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil but insists they are primed for the test.
"The world is watching the Algeria differently after the World Cup in Brazil,â⬠A lot of things have changed,â⬠he said
People are now taken us seriously as they have not doe before. They know we have animals on the ground and that with slightest luck, we can win the title.
ââ¬ÅWe are going to war for our country and weââ¬â¢ll do everything possible to win the cup.
The 28-year-old was born in France but opted to play for the country of his parent.
