2016 Olympic Games qualifier: Black Queens without striker Faiza Ibrahim ahead of Cameroon showdown

Ghana will be without top striker Faiza Ibrahim for Saturday’s Women’s 2016 Olympic Games qualifier against Cameroon.

Ibrahim, who plays for local side Police Ladies failed to recover in time from an injury as the team depart for Yaounde on Wednesday for the first leg tie.

Coach Yusif Basigi has decided not to risk the influential player, dropping him for the crucial tie against the Lioness.

The Black Queens face a daunting task against a side which reached the knockout phase of the 2015 World Cup in Canada.

The return leg takes place in Accra on August 2.
