Afriyie Acquah and Jordan Ayew have been named in Ghana’s squad to face Congo and Rwanda next month despite revelation that there’s tension between the two.

Acquah’s wife Amanda revealed in scandalous leaked audio take of his raunchy relationship with new Aston Villa signing Ayew.

She added that her husband Acquah is not on talking terms with Jordan because of their marriage – revelation which could prove damaging for the national team.

The midfielder’s refusal to pass the ball to Ghana striker Ayew would leave the Black Stars suffering because of her claims of a frosty relationship between the two key Ghana players.

Ghana coach Avram Grant, who had already penciled down the players in his squad, could not axe them from team.

Acquah and Ayew have been international teammates since 2010 when they featured for the Ghana U20 team in an African Youth Championship qualifier and the Ghana U23 team.

The Black Stars will play against Congo in Brazzaville on 01 September in a friendly and then travel to Kigali to engage the Amavubi in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group H qualifier.
