Ghana's opponents, Mauritius, are in turmoil just three weeks before they face the Black Stars in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as they have sacked their coach Didier Six.
The former France international Didier Six was sacked as coach of Mauritius by the country's football association after his tantrums at the COSAFA Cup last week.
This leaves the team in disarray just some few days before they face Ghana in their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Accra scheduled for 14 June.
It follows his suspension 'for unacceptable behaviour' at the Southern African championship the Cosafa Cup.
"He [Six] informally said that he didn't want to continue after the defeat against Zimbabwe in the Cosafa Cup," Mauritius Football Association (MFA) president Sameer Sobha said.
"But he never informed the MFA officially of his decision and did not attend the training."
Sobha added that Six has not returned to Mauritius as far as he is aware and hence his dismissal.
The 60-year-old, who was appointed in January, was also fined US$2,000 for his poor behaviour at the tournament as he was sent off during his side's 2-0 defeat by Namibia on 19 May.
That followed a warning over his refusal to talk to media after a 2-0 loss to Zimbabwe in their opener.
Also, Cosafa officials said Six had "thrown a tantrum" at a pre-tournament meeting over the non-registration of two of his players.
Mauritius must now put together a team under a new coach when they face Ghana in Accra.
