FC Sion striker Ebenezer Assifuah hopes he will be given an opportunity to strut his stuff after being recalled into the Black Stars.

Grant has included him in the 24-man squad to play Congo and Rwanda next month.

The 2013 FIFA U20 top scorer was invited for the friendlies against Senegal and Mali in March this year but was an unused substitute.

But the 22-year-old hopes he gets some game time to prove his worth.

"I had a good pre-season and I have been in top shape so I'm hoping for the best," Assifuah told AfricanFootball.com

"If I am given the opportunity, then everybody body can judge my output. Football is all about timing and when your time comes, nobody can push you down."

Assifuah will be playing in this season's Europa League after FC Sion won the Swiss Cup last season.
