Rwanda have been boosted by the arrivals of six foreign-based players ahead of Saturday’s 2017 Nations Cup qualifier against Ghana.

The sextet in the Amavubi training camp are defenders Emery Bayisenge (Lask Linz, Austria), Salomon Nirisarike (Sint-Truidense, Belgium), Abouba Sibomana (Gor Mahia, Kenya); midfielders Niyonzima (Young Africans, Tanzania) and Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza (Azam FC, Tanzania); and striker Quentin Rushenguziminega (Lausanne Sport, Switzerland).

Head coach John McKinstry can now hatch a plan for a win against the Black Stars, who were runners up at the last tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

Rwanda beat Ethiopia 3-1 at the Amahoro Stadium thanks to goals from Ernest Sugira, Jacques Tuyisenge and Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza to prepare for the second Group H qualifier.
