Black Starlets head coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has made light of the absence of winger Sadiq Ibrahim ahead of the round of 16 clash against Niger in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The Right to Academy wing-wizard has been one of Ghana's most exciting players at the mundial but he'll miss the Wednesday's crucial round of 16 clash against fellow West Africans Niger through suspension after accumulating two yellow cards in the group stages.

However, coach Fabin has downplayed his absence by claiming that the team is well equipped to cope with the loss.

“Saddick’s absence would not bring any problems for the team, we have worthy substitute who can come in and deliver and I always say how a good a team is depends on your bench. If you look at our last match I made four changes but they all did well,” Fabin said in an interview.

The highly anticipated clash against Niger is slated for the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Wednesday at 11:30 AM.
