2018 CHAN QUALIFIER: Ghana FA President Nyantakyi to join Black Stars B in Ouagadougou on Friday

President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi will join the Black Stars B in Ouagadougou this afternoon, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

He is expected to take off from Ghana around 2:45 and touch down in Ouagadougou by 4:30 this afternoon.

Led by the Management Committee chairman of the Black Stars B Nii Komiete Doku, the 32-man contingent arrived in Burkina Faso on Wednesday evening.

The team checked in at the Palace Hotel and settled for the game on Saturday.

The arrival of Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is also the 1st Vice President of CAF is expected boost the morale of the players for the game after they were unfortunately denied a training pitch on Thursday afternoon.

Ghana will take on the Local Stallions of Burkina Faso on Saturday afternoon in the first leg of the CHAN qualifier at the Stade du 4th Aust.

Ghana failed to qualify to the last edition held in Rwanda and plans are far advanced to get the team to qualify for the tournament which will be hosted in Kenya next year.
