The Black Stars will open their training camp in Accra this evening (Monday) for Friday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures against Comoros, the Ghana FA has revealed.
Coach Avram Grant has invited 23 players including home-based players Samuel Tetteh of WAFA and Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori in the squad expected to start arriving on Sunday.
With some of the players already in the country and some playing on Sunday night, most of the players are expected to arrive on Monday night.
However the presence of about ten players in camp by Sunday night will pave the way for them to start training in the evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“The Black Stars will start training on Monday evening. We don’t expect a full house by Monday evening. We expect a full house by Tuesday evening,†Ghana FA Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Hello FM in Kumasi on Saturday.
The two-legged fixture which will take place on the 13th and 17th of November will be played on Moroni in Comoros and in Kumasi, Ghana respectively.
