2018 World Cup: Egypt name crack foreign-based squad to face Ghana

Egypt have named ten high-profile foreign based players that includes Italy-based superstar Mohammed Salah for next month's crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

The foreign-based players will be part of the final squad to be released by coach Hector Cuper in the coming days as he prepares for the game against the Black Stars.

Most of the players in the then-man list play for top European clubs and are key players of their respective clubs.

Omar Gaber, star player of Swiss side Basel, is part of the team, Stoke City's Ramadan Sobhi as well as Arsenal star Mohamed Elneny.

The Pharaohs will welcome the Black Stars to the Borg El Arab Stadium outside of Alexandria for a Group E clash on November 13.

The national team’s technical staff, led by coach Hector Cuper, confirmed the following 10 players based outside of Egypt will be in the squad:

Defenders: Mohamed Abdel-Shafy (Al Ahli, UAE), Omar Gaber (FC Basel)

Midfielders: Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City), Amr Warda (Panetolikos F.C.), Mahmoud Hassan Trézéguet (Royal Excel Mouscron), Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City), Mahmoud Kahraba (Ittihad FC, UAE), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)

Forwards: Mohamed Salah (Roma), Ahmed Hassan Kouka (S.C. Braga)
