Winless Werder Bremen and Freiburg meet in northern Germany on Saturday with both sides’ fragile belief in need of being shored up after miserable openings to the current season (kick-off 15:30CEST/13:30GMT).

A late goal from supersub Nils Petersen - who has scored 12 of his last 13 league goals while coming on from the bench - earned Freiburg a point against Hannover on Wednesday night. It was Streich's side's third draw of the season so far, and they head to the Weser Stadion looking for their first win of the season with no new injury troubles.
Host Werder Bremen are in the same situation as their visitors, coming into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg, and seeking their first win of the season. Fin Bartels' second half goal helped Alexander Nouri's side collect their second point of the season. Lamine Sane and Thomas Delaney require late fitness tests to see if they will be available, but Nouri remains confident of no new injury issues.
